Marijuana plant has been popular since many years ago, but right now people are getting more interested in it for a different reason. Many people used to think that the plant produced nothing but addictive substance called THC. Consuming the plant was almost synonymous with “getting high” in most cases. When it comes to marijuana, most of the general public had negative connotation mainly about the psychoactive nature of the substances extracted from the plant, but now not anymore.

THC is the addictive psychotic-inducing substance; it remains so yet the same plant also produces Cannabidiol (CBD) which delivers only the positive therapeutic benefits without the addiction, hallucination, and other dangerous psychological and cardiovascular effects. This is exactly what CTFO (Changing the Future Outcome) is trying to communicate to the public at large, not only to consumers but also the business landscape.

Dependence and Abuse Potentials of CBD

Based on a pre-review report compiled by Expert Committee on Drug Dependence for the WHO, the dependence potential of CBD use is almost zero, both in animal and human trials. While further research is always required to confirm results of the study, there had not been any potential physical dependence reported so far. Dependence potential goes in line with CBD’s low abuse potential as well.

Unlike THC which is associated with the increase of dopamine release in the cells, consumption of CBD has no effect on the firing rate of the cells. Typical chemical reaction commonly observed from the use of drugs of abuse such as methamphetamine and cocaine is that subjects experience some changes in the threshold frequency necessary for effects stimulation, while CBD does not introduce the same reaction during animal testing. In other words, the subject will never be able to substitute the craving for THC (or other drugs of abuse) with CBD due to the simple reason that the latter is not addictive at all. Even when both substances are administered together and despite the similar effects, CBD does not show any abuse potential. An increase in dose of CBD also fails to substitute THC.

Human testing in which more realistic dose were used, CBD was far less intoxicating and addictive compared to THC. An oral dose of 600mg CBD administered to healthy volunteers did not show any distinguishable effects from other subjects during a controlled double blind placebo trial. On other hand, 10mg orally administered THC was strongly linked to subjective euphoria and intoxication as well hallucinogenic activity. An increase of anxiety and other psychotic symptoms were observed as well. There was also strong correlation between consumption of THC and increased heart rate, while CBD introduced no significant cardiovascular effects.

Medicinal Use

One of the driving forces behind CBD’s growing popularity is its mounting purported health benefits. Among them is its effectiveness for epilepsy treatment. As a matter of fact, the effects of CBD in epileptic patients have been extensively studied since the 1970s. Animal studies demonstrated Cannabidiol’s therapeutic properties including but not limited to anti-seizure benefits. Based on these early studies, the same substance has been tested in (human) epileptic patients too.

Daily consumption of 300mg CBD in addition to patients’ habitual medications for 3 months introduced some noticeable improvements in their conditions. From all 4 epileptic patients who participated in the clinical trial, 2 of them had no seizures for the same period of time; 1 showed partial improvement; another had no improvement at all. There was also a placebo group included in the trial, and both groups showed no toxic effects of any short. While the summary was in favor of CBD, some details were missing such as sample size and what “partial improvement” actually referred to.

However, another study which included 15 participants (all of them were epileptic) came up with a confirmative conclusion regarding the absence of toxicity or any kind of serious side effects from consumption of CBD. This test was conducted for longer period too during which each patient received 200-300mg of CBD on daily basis for up to four and a half months.
CTFO is confident that more positive results will come and more clinical trials will prove how beneficial CBD is for the population to improve quality of life for both users and sellers. Other diseases for which CBD is believed to give therapeutic benefits according to the WHO report may include the following:

• Alzheimer’s disease

• Parkinson’s disease

• Multiple sclerosis

• Huntington’s disease

• Hypoxia-ischemia injury

Pain

• Psychosis

Anxiety

Depression

• Cancer

• Nausea

• Inflammatory diseases

• Rheumatoid arthritis

• Infection

• Crohn’s diseases

• Cardiovascular disease

The therapeutic effects range from anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant, neuro-protective, anti-depressant, antiapoptotic, and analgesic benefits. In many cases, CBD also exhibits useful medicinal properties including suppression of nausea, improvement of social interactions, and reduction of muscular tension, restlessness, fatigue, problems in concentration agitation, nightmare and aggressive behavior in patients.

It is safe to say that the market for CBD has changed quite a bit since the beginning of the decade. The business was dominated by only big companies, and consumers were willing to pay a little bit more for a milligram (around $1.25 per mg), but now the price has taken a dive to less than half a dollar for the same amount. On the production side, volumes have increased to a significant extent thanks to legalization in most states in the US. Increased volume means more products to sale, and higher number of consumers opens the door to easier marketing efforts. Also, the competitive nature of the market forces cultivators to bring higher quality products. Watch the Compensation Plan Video:

By 2020, CBD market is estimated to grow up to 700% from 2016; that is around $2.1 billion in consumer sales. With the on-going studies seem to prove only beneficial effects, more traditional marijuana users are also inclined to switch to CBD. The largest licensed cultivator in Southern California, Outco, claimed that  38% potential consumers (both user and non-user) were willing to learn more about CBD too, according to a publication in Forbes.  Are You Ready to Start Your Jurney With CTFO ? ”  YES I’m In”  If you Join Our Team You will Recieve Our Free Marketing Plan Exclusively For Our Team Members
